Meet "STONE!" (Now Retired)

Stone is our well established stud dog out at Stone River German Shepherds, our affiliates!
He is very obedient & willing to learn & to please. Nothing much bothers him! He's great in public, but content to hang out at home with his human pack or with his dog pack! He's great around chickens, cats & livestock, & is very gentle! He's a great watchdog when the need arises, but he's not an aggression liability.
He has been tested negative against DM.
According to the tests, he can never pass on DM to any of his pups!
He is a black & tan short coat, & weighed 80 lbs at 8 months of age! His father maxed out at 95 pounds.
Stone now ranges at 97-101 lbs as a mature boy & produces male pups as big as 100-120 lbs!
Even though he's already majestic & handsome, he shows promise to continue to blossom & mature!
He has a Penn Hip rating in the 90th percentile, which means, like Salhaus dogs, his hips are better/tighter than 90% of all German Shepherds tested in the United States!
He can produce pups of all colors, including black & tan like himself, solid blue, solid black, blue & tan, as well as white, depending on what colors the female we breed him to, carries.
He can also pass on short coats & long coats. So far he has mainly produced short coats.
He passes on his wonderful traits to his offspring! Stone has now been retired. But some of his daughters are in our breeding program to keep his wonderful traits going.
